We’re thrilled to reveal that the Panasonic Battery G-OKCP is officially joining our special shape fleet! Built by Lindstrand Balloons in 1999, this giant battery is still in fantastic airworthy condition and will be returning to the skies for the first time since 2019.
Our goal is to free fly it again in 2026 - and we can’t wait for everyone to see it back in action! Owned by Matt and Chris, the Panasonic Battery joins our other 2025 additions - Nivea, Miracle Man, Philips Light Bulb, and Cornetto Ice Cream. This also marks a huge milestone: our fleet has now grown to 15 special shapes, and we are the largest collection of shapes outside the USA! It’s hard to believe it’s just over 4 years since I began with our very first shape, G-LIPS, and I’m really proud of how the collection has grown in that time.
