G-LIPS Joycam Lips Special Shape

One of the last Flying Pictures special shapes, G-LIPS was built by Cameron Balloons in 2000 to promote a new Polaroid camera called Joycam. It returned to Bristol in 2021 after over 21 years and was the first balloon in our collection, having travelled the world to Switzerland, France, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Chile. Since 2001 G-LIPS had been owned in the UK, but had rarely attended any UK ballooning events. 

It's very heavy and hard work, but looks great when inflated and still flies well. During the 2022 season our team flew Joycam Lips at the 3 big UK balloon events; Midlands, Bristol and Longleat. We are delighted to have G-LIPS under our ownership and excited for more flights very soon.
